DPK Consulting Acquired by ARD, Inc.
PRESS RELEASE
October 1, 2008
DPK Consulting has been acquired by ARD, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tetra Tech, Inc. DPK will be a division of ARD. DPK's Principal and Chief Financial Officer Robert W. Page Jr., and Principal and President William E. Davis, are now directors and report to ARD's president, Jan Auman, in Burlington, Vermont. Mr. Page will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of DPK, while Mr. Davis will continue to manage business development opportunities and project implementation.
Mr. Davis said of the acquisition, "DPK will complement ARD's strong experience in governance, institutional development, agriculture, land and property rights, and information management, and enable DPK to leverage its experience in rule of law and government accountability to expand into other arenas."
The change also provides a solid foundation for the successful pursuit of even larger-scale projects, and the chance for DPK to join a growing organization that is actively increasing its range of activities. DPK's home office will remain in San Francisco, California, and its management structure remains unchanged.
