DPK Launches New Project in Afghanistan

DPK is proud to announce that we have recently been awarded the USAID Rule of Law Stabilization Program-Formal Component in Afghanistan. The overall objective of the program is to help make Afghanistan’s formal justice system more accessible, reliable, and fair. Our team, some of which is already in Afghanistan, will work to develop the capacity of the judiciary and to train the next generation of legal professionals studying in the Faculties of Law and Shari’a. The program will also work to raise public legal awareness and encourage the citizens of Afghanistan to resolve their disputes by accessing and asserting their rights through the state justice system. The main DPK field office is based in Kabul and we will also have a regional presence. We are honored to be involved in assisting with this important work in Afghanistan.
