USAID Mediation ProgramEL SALVADOR 2007 - 2010DPK implemented the USAID Mediation Project to support El Salvador's efforts to strengthen the rule of law. The project worked to strengthen the existing network of mediation centers as a means of increasing access to justice, and helping to decrease social and youth violence in targeted geographic areas through increased access to USAID-sponsored peer mediation programs. The project also supported current efforts to revise alternative dispute resolution (ADR) legislation in El Salvador to ensure a systematized legal framework for the development of ADR.
