Paraguay 2006 - 2008

DPK Consulting managed a Coordinating Unit to assist the Government of Paraguay in implementing the 10 component projects under the Millennium Challenge Corporation Threshold Country Program. Over 24 months, DPK coordinated project efforts to fight impunity and corruption and strengthen institutions that foster and enforce the formalization of economic activities.

The Coordinating Unit's work included: (1) assisting in the review and approval of work plans and quarterly reports submitted by the operating units; (2) preparing summarized program reports for high-level government officials; (3) assisting in monitoring the performance of each component and of the program as a whole; (4) facilitating inter-agency coordination; (5) coordinating with USAID and its contractors; (6) assisting in the preparation of public awareness campaigns; and (7) carrying out program evaluations.
