Modernization of Judicial Branch Administration, Organization, and Procedures

Costa Rica 1994 - 1995

DPK provided technical assistance to the judicial branch in Costa Rica, including developing delay reduction programs for the Constitutional Sala of the Supreme Court; introducing decentralized administration of the judicial branch; improving administrative systems; and introducing community-based alternative dispute resolution programs. DPK worked with the court system to design facilities that accommodated modern automated case tracking systems, including central clerk's offices for document reception in court entrance foyers to be accessible by litigants, attorneys, and the general public.
