Assessment and Evaluation of USAID Rule of Law Programming

DPK assisted USAID to assess general strategic frameworks and project achievements in Nepal under its rule of law programming. DPK conducted a targeted analysis of the status of rule of law development, including an examination of existing programming and an assessment of the primary opportunities and constraints to further development of the rule of law. The team investigated which justice sector issues warrant USAID support, given the current operating environment as well as work being through funding by USAID, other donors, and the Nepalese government itself. Based on recommendations identified by DPK, USAID will determine how best to address identified needs.
